Industrially-important materials and chemicals, nanomaterial production and environmental detection, improving development of material and chemical manufacture to include environmental metrics, geochemical analysis, isotope geochemistry, predictive fate models, gas phase reactions, measurement of recalcitrant carbon solids and nanomaterials, novel material synthesis.
