Wednesday, April 30, 2025, 4:00-5:30pm: Junior Faculty Social Hour. Join us for an informal gathering with your fellow junior faculty colleagues and members of the Dean’s Office. Light snacks and beverages will be served.

Tuesday February 11, 2025, 12:00-1:00pm: Ladder Faculty - Faculty Affairs Office Hours. Join Deputy Dean for Faculty Development Julie Dorsey and Assistant Dean for Faculty Affairs Kristin Flower for an informal lunch to meet colleagues and discuss questions about the reappointment or promotion process, leaves, mentoring, teaching, or any other questions you may have! This session is primarily for junior faculty. Lunch will be provided.
Tuesday, March 25, 2025, 12:00-1:00pm: Balancing and Prioritizing Faculty Workload. Join faculty colleagues and Deputy Dean for Faculty Development Julie Dorsey and Assistant Dean for Faculty Affairs Kristin Flower for a lunchtime conversation about balancing teaching, research, and service, time management, and prioritizing with an eye towards reappointment or promotion. This session is open to all faculty. Lunch will be provided.

Join faculty colleagues, Jennifer Imamura from the Poorvu Center, Deputy Dean for Faculty Development Julie Dorsey, and Assistant Dean for Faculty Affairs Kristin Flower for a lunchtime conversation about building and managing a research group. Topics may include management, budget, balancing students and postdocs, mentoring, and dealing with conflicts in the lab. This session is open to all faculty. Lunch will be provided.
