Hyder to Participate at Bhutan Innovation Forum

D.S. Fahmeed Hyder, Professor of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging at School of Medicine, Professor of Biomedical Engineering at School of Engineering & Applied Science, and Head of Trumbull College, has been invited to the Bhutan Innovation Forum in Paro, Bhutan taking place October 1-3, 2024 and hosted by His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.

Hyder will serve as a panel member and speaker for the "AI and Innovations in Biomedical Science" session alongside faculty members from Brown University and the University of Chicago Medicine & Biological Sciences.

The Bhutan Innovation Forum, modeled after the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, brings together world's eminent thought-leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, artists, philosophers, scientists, philanthropists, and investors to help realize His Majesty's vision for innovation, economic transformation, and sustainability. The goal is to share insights from diverse perspectives and expertise to find solutions that will not only benefit Bhutan, but also inspire global progress.
