André Hoffmann is the vice chair of the global healthcare company, Roche, a Swiss business leader, and environmentalist. He believes in business as a force for good, and advocates for a form of capitalism aimed at generating sustainable and inclusive prosperity. 

Author of The New Nature of Business: The Path to Prosperity and Sustainability, he presents a template for creating “sustainable prosperity”, and case-studies of companies that survived and thrived by opting for change.

Join Jeff Brock, Dean of the Yale School of Engineering & Applied Science, as he and Andre discuss Roche’s sustainability practices, lessons learned from organizations with visionary leaders, and how we can build an economic system that builds on nature without destroying it.
