Love — or, at least its enigmatic aroma — will be in the air on Friday, Feb. 13 during the “Engineering Makes Scents at Yale” event at the Center for Engineering Innovation and Design (CEID).

Members of the public are invited to come and “engineer” a unique scent for themselves or their Valentine. Various mixable fragrances will be available, including such unusual options as Columbian coffee beans, and participants can take home their concoction in a specially designed Yale fragrance flask.

The event, sponsored by the School of Engineering and Applied Science, will take place 1–3 p.m. in the CEID, 15 Prospect St. Admission is free.
