David Yu '00

David Yu is currently building his third startup from Berlin. Previously he co-founded Discovereads, which was acquired by Goodreads/ Amazon. He was also the CTO for Q.Digital, a bootstrapped startup with 10+ millions of monthly users. David double-majored at Yale in Computer Science and Molecular Biophysics, and received his JD from Harvard Law School. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, David worked for Genentech's bioinformatics department, where he built software to help discover cancer treatments. He is a co-founder of the Andy Keidel Endowment Fund at Yale, which supports computer science and entrepreneurship at Yale.

The Andy Keidel Undergraduate Endowment Fund was created by friends and family of Andy Keidel '00 in his memory. Income from the fund shall be used to support academic and entrepreneurial activities of undergraduate Computer Science students.
