This Yale Climate & Energy Institute Conference will examine issues central to the continued use of nuclear energy and its role in decarbonizing the world's energy supply. These issues include the safety and regulation of nuclear plants, the long-term storage of nuclear waste, the financing of new plant construction and the development of new, safer nuclear technology. The event brings together leaders from government, academia and industry for an interdisciplinary look at The Future of Nuclear Energy.
